Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have made it official: they’re engaged to be married!

On Wednesday, 11 December, Gomez shared her excitement on Instagram with photos of her and the 36-year-old music producer, while showing off her large, marquise-cut diamond ring.

“Forever begins now,” the 32-year-old “Rare” songstress wrote in the caption.

Judging from the pics, Blanco popped the question during a cozy picnic date, leaving Gomez grinning from ear to ear with joy.

Hundreds of fans flooded the comments section to congratulate the couple, including English actress, Suki Waterhouse, who wrote: “Congratulations, beauty!”

Gomez had been friends and collaborators with Blanco for several years before they officially started dating in June 2023. Since then, they have attended multiple star-studded events together and often share loved-up pics of themselves on social media.

Prior to their relationship, Gomez had been enjoying the single life after dating the likes of Justin Bieber and The Weeknd. As for Blanco, he was notably in a relationship with Elsie Hewitt in 2020.
